Well... Greenspun finally died and not a moment too soon. I really wish to keep a forum going and will be posting at Political Parlor when it gets back up and running. I started my own website over a year ago but didnt have time to maintain it so that one it dead. What im wanting to do is have a site that reports on Local Abuses of Power (stuff that the Nation Media ignores) and finds ways to help. Anarchists, Authoritarians, Libertarians, Populists, Conservatives, Liberals, Reformists, and Independents will all be represented in the new one I am planning on making.

I hope also that many of you will help out in making this happen. Not only do I know have as much time as I would need for this due to Military Service I also have my views and hold to them dearly. Diversity is good.

And Now For Something Completely Different: Two Cents From Kayce

Since no new postings are allowed, I have to tack my two cents on to here.

While many of you are probably like 'oh gee, thats too bad, no more lusenet' and could really care less, finding this here today really saddens me to my core. Ive been running around Greenspun for nearly SIX years now, all starting with a Little Monster Rancher board a long time ago. Over said periods of time, Ive gone by KillerCrud (where KC comes from) to Black Kobra, to White Viper, to System Overflow, to today, with the quasi 'Kayce' name which was actually given to me by an old friend named Asylum Outpatient.

Due to the fact that I'm only 20, I don't think many of you can even understand how... mind numbing the thought of having your entire teenage years catalogued somehow. Beleive me, over all those years, if you found my first posts, I have changed a lot. I would have been 14 oh so long ago, young, immature and stupid. I mean, Im still pretty young and immature, but it was comforting that I could aways find a place that I knew somehow somewhere stored a little bit of me from some time ago.

If I can get friggen access to Kobe HQ, I'll post there. Maybe this political parlour place Tator is talking about.

I know probably few of you actually care, but this is indeed a sad, sad day for me. I've lost something I've held dear. It would be like if you went to the same ice cream parlour for six years of your teenage life. Were able to shoot the shit about everything while dealing with your problems. People could watch you grow, develop. Sure, the management might change every so often, the building might switch, but it still had the feeling of home. And then a bulldozer accidentally knocks it over, and no plans of rebuilding are thought of.

It's sad. It really is.

hehe! Yes Kayce I remember that one. It was Daveyrootbeer who got me to go to ATFF. He later started the Legend of Zelda forum. I was posting at Anarchy 1 and it was flooded by ppl coping other boards so I made Anarchy 2. this was like 4 years ago. I first posted on Anarchy 1 in May 2001 I believe.... well before Sept 11th. Sooo many good ppl have come and gone, Tamara, Jumpoff Joe, Joe Bob Billy Bubba Bo, Davey Rootbeer, etc. I hope that we can get togather at this new site and decide about making something alot better...
