McClelland Barclay Fish Bowl Lamp

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Art Deco Society of Washington : One Thread

I have been asked to sell a super signed McClelland Barclay lamp. It is a nude woman rising out of a wave to a standing position. Her head is back and she is reaching out holding a nice big sea shell. The shell hides a small light bulb which would shine down onto the base of the statue. The base used to hold a fish bowl which I do not have. The lamp stands around 18" tall and is really super. I also have a signed Frankart lamp which is of a nude standing on a brass orb. Whe is reaching up and is holding a shallow bowl which holds the light fixture. I do not have a globe and am not even sure what kind of cover used to hide to bulb. This piece is around 24" tall. I do not know what these pieces are worth. I am considering all offers.
