I'm so glad you enjoyed the site. I just love farm life. I was once reading The Writers market, and in looking at what publishers were asking for, I was interested to see these publishers all saying they didn't want material on romance of farm life. Personally I think farm life is so full of romance, that it is difficult to expound upon the subject without being a little romantic. While the day to day work of the farm is sometimes difficult, those days are also filled with sound and beauty and romance. What I liked about this site was the memories of the romance of farm life that makes this guy want tonot only remember, but revel in the romance of the past. If I were to give this guy a piece of advice it would be to stop trying earn a life of ease on the farm of the future, and find a way to have his dream now. As people we draw our own boxes around ourselves. We wall ourselves into our plans, until we cannot get to our goals until we do demolition. Most people spend so much time in their life building walls for why they can't they never tear them down to see why they can. This goes for the inner city single mother, or the corporate climber climbing up to a place he can't even see, and doesn't really want to be in. I know so many people who are so busy earning for retirement, that retirment becomes like the promised land, and they end up living in the wilderness for 40 or so years. Sadly when they reach the promised land it turns out to be a nightmare, because they are so sick from wandering in the wilderness that like Moses, they die before entering! Live your dreams now, because tomorrow may never come.
