Someone gave me a CD with a powerpoint slideshow with music. (Each slide has its own mp3). The technician told me I was able to put it on a DVD by taping it on a VHS first. Did not work. I saw I could save the file in bmp, but will the music follow?

I think http://www.dvdrhelp.com has a guide on converting PowerPoint presentations to VCD. No, the music won't follow if you save the slides as BMP. Ignore what the technician told you.
