resuming lessons with a student that broke her finger

I have this student that broke her finger. It was pretty bad. She had to have two surgeries on it. It was her right pointer finger and it was a diagonal brake. She has not been to piano lessons for 3 months. Although she is still attending her dance classes. Go figure! Anyway, how should I go about getting her started again? Any suggestions please.

Call your music store and ask for all music for one hand. Do a lot of scales, technique, history or theory in the meantime.
