I found a watercolor painting by William Wintle. He lived from 1911 to 1970 originally from South Africa, but settled in Oakland in 1929. Studied at CCAC and member of SWA and American Watercolor Society. Eventually moved to Volcano, CA and co-owned the Cobblestone Gallery. Any additional information anyone can provide including more biographical information, samples of his work, and where I might be able to find other examples of his work, would be sincerely appreciated.
