Are Treat Ave and Lucky St named after horses?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco History : One Thread

I am looking for information about Treat Avenue and Lucky Street, and how they got their names. I have heard they were named after two well-know race horses, but everything I've found so far is rather vauge. Does anyone know the origin of these street names; and if the story is related to horse racing, can you tell me anything about how it relates to the history of the Mission District?

George Treat was a pioneer race horse breeder in san Francisco and associated with the Pioneer Race Track (1864), Golden Gate Driving Park (1874) and the Ocean View Track (1873). The Pioneer Race Track occupied the present day Garfield Park at the edge of Treat Street.

As for Lucky, why not?

Good luck in your research.
