I just purchased a 2002 Senna, when the bike arrived the battery was dead. I looked at the manual on how to remove the battery but I did not see anything. Can someone here please tell me how to remove the battery. How do I get to the negetive and how do you lift the battery out? Sorry for the stupid question, but i'm lost.

Hello Mike, First,you have to disconnect the tail light socket.Then you take the whole tail unit out.It's secured by 2pcs of rubber and 2 metal pins.After that,you have to undo the hex bolt that holds your fuel tank.Then take out 2 bolts that holds the fuel tank mounting bracket. With all these undone,you can slide the battery out a little bit and you can start removing the NEGATIVE wire on the battery.Then remove the posotive wire. Assembly is easy.Just follow these steps backwards starting from the POSITIVE wire. Hope this helps.
