Tyvek Boat Covers for rowing shells

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Open-water rowing : One Thread

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the costly shell covers that are made out of nylon. I found somone who uses Tyvek to make rain ponchos for camping and he was able to make me a cover complete with a zippper. This is a great cover for club boats that keep their shells out of doors on racks, or inside a dusty garage to keep the dirt off. Here is the link if you want to contact that guy that makes them.
