I have a .VCD file, how to i put it onto a cd?

I have downloaded a film of the internet. It is a .VCD file. I put the VCD onto a cd-r using Burn4Free but it would reconize the cd in my dvd players. what do i need to do to be able to play this VCD on my player? Cheers

Are you sure this is a video file? A file with a .VCD (Value Change Dump) extension is usually a data file for a math CAD program or mathematical modeling program. Try changing the extension to .MPG and see if it will play in Media Player (or your favorite player.) If not, it's eiter corrupt or not video.
