Hi all, I am building a 16'+ row boat beam 45 " and am looking for some realy nice oarlocks . can anyone point me in the right direction . Most of my rowing will be on salt water in procted area,s. Alos are sleaves of the new bearing plastics being used as yet , or are all oarlocks still metal to metal? King regards Mike

Mike,I suggest you check out the Pearson Surf Dory website at www.pearsonunlimited.com
They have some GREAT oarlocks that I use in my saltwater surfboat.

King regards ----------------------- Mike, If you're going to be feathering you may want to look into Concept2's setup. They have plastic oarcages that rotate on a 13mm pin.
