Hey Chris; A good place to start is with the 'Southern Railway Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment'by James Kinkaid. This book shows the 'Big John' hopper in various paint and weathered schemes.Champ has a decal set #hc-485 for this hopper. I'm not sure who would have this hopper in HO, if thats the scale you are modeling. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
