Greetings. I am wondering if anyone can enlighten me on the status of nurses in Spain? That is, what is the average salary for the Spanish equivalent of an American nurse with, say, a BSN-RN license? What is the cultural status of a nurse in Spain? How does the public view nurses? What are nursing roles in Spain? Do nurses in Spain have the same responsibilties with regards to patient care that they do in the US? Of interest as well to me, what are the areas of greatest need for nurses in Spain -- e.g., geriatrics, ICU, ER, obstetrics/gyne, etc.?
