B & B now I have their SARN response any advice on how to decipher it!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

I have today (Saturday) received a response from Bradford and Bingley and at the risk of sounding dim, how would I recognise the mortgage deed which I requested among other things. As far as I can tell I have not got any of the information I asked for, including the mortgage deed so I will be asking them for the same things again but wanted to be sure I hadn't got it and just not recognised it! The one thing I can make out is a schedule of title, is that the thing I am after? I admit to being overwhelmed by how much paper they sent but having looked through it most of it is duplicated and a lot of it so poorly photocopied it is illegible. I can make out some very rude remarks made about me by a G Flynn but that doesn't help much. Also, would they have to produce in court the things I have asked for like the notification of completion of sale etc. etc. Many thanks for any help and when I get more info or if I can be of any use to anyone else please just e-mail me. Pat

If you're finding it tough many county courts now have duty advice desks on mortgage possession days I understand. These are staffed by advice workers from local CABx, independent advice centres, money advice centres, local authority housing depts, solicitors and law centres. The adviser on duty can advise you about your rights and may be able to represent you in court. FIAC is the Federation of Independent Advice Centres. They have over 950 advice centres in membership across the UK. About half offer debt advice, eg Mary Ward Legal Centre, National Debtline, Bristol Debt Advice Centre etc. All members give advice on any area which is completely free and confidential. See: http://www.yourrights.org.uk/your-rights/further- information-and-advice/organisations/federation-of-independent-advice- centres.shtml This info was posted some time ago by Nick Pearson but I think it's worth posting again.

You should find someone out of these who can help you with the p/work and advise.

Thank you very much, that is really helpful. B+B have passed my request for the obviously missing information that I asked for to the recoveries department now. I will certainly make use of the advice you gave, thanks again.
