Nero Slide show - photos with music

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I am having problems reading CD’s that I have written Nero slideshows too.

I have the latest version of Nero installed Nero 6 6.3.1.15 and Nero Vision Express 2 2.12.12.

What I am trying to do is create a slideshow using “JPG” photos with music. I manage to create and write it to my hard disc and it works perfectly. However, when I try to burn it to a CD it actually writes it to the CD but I can’t view or run it from EXPLORER. It shows on the CD that 100 MB as been used but no visible files.

I have tried a number of ways to create it using Nero Express 2

Make New Slide show - DVD Video, Video CD, Super Video CD and Mini DVD

My CD writer in my laptop is a TORiSAN CD-RW CDW-44424

I have many coffee coasters now so thought I had better ask some experts.

have you checked on the screen just before you burn that it isn't trying to burn a compilation. what i mean is, is it leaving the cd open for additional writing. if so uncheck the compilation box and make sure it finalises the cd.

My settings are not set to "multisession" and the process is completed with the saving of the log file etc. Now chatting to Nero so hopefully will solve problem - will post result if solved.
