I want to swap my bi-post seat and subframe to single.greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread |
Easy one this. I want to convert to single seat. Is there any one in the Uk who wants to exchange rear seat/body and subframe for my bi-post seat and subframe along with the rear foot reasts of course. My gear is in first class condition with no blemishes what so ever, i would like the same condition if posable. So who wants to swap?

There are several posts on this subject... The one item that seems to slow people down is having to change the shock. I can't remember if it's required going form mono to bi or the other way but it is a details that should not be overlooked. My best guess is that the biposto shock will not work on a mono setup... but as I stated check out the other posts on this subject...

I believe the shock is a spring rate issue rather than a fitment one. The 1+1 is set up to allow for the possable extra weight of a passenger.

In fact its very straight forward as far as the seat unit and seat subframe goes. As far as the shocker goes i dont know, i have never had a pilion rider to test the bi-post shock. Any ways the uniqe offer is on the table for a few weeks then i will buy the single seat and subframe and send the bi_post units to the big old scrapper in the sky.
