I am new to replication. can any one please tell me how to replicate data. I have two servers productionserver and qualityserver there is a database called pro1 in productionserver. This database doesn't exists in Quality server.

I want to replicate this database to Qualityserver. Is ti neccessary to copy the database to qualityserver.

can you tell me what are the steps I have to follow to replicate.

And how can I know weather replication taken place or not.
