Millwright Pre-Apprentice Programs

Hey all, I'm a student at Fanshawe College in ST Thomas taking a 52 week Pre-Apprentice program for Industrial Millwright. I do not work in the field at all right now, but I have working in factories before. What is the opinion of everybody else on this venture of mine? I am a little doubtful with everything. Are Millwrights in a high demand yet? Are these courses regarded for much on my resume when I go out to market myself to potential employeers?

Any words of wisdom would help?

Distresed...

Millwrights are Industrial Mechanics. I am pleased it was my choosen profession. Skilled mechanics with a 'can do' attitude are always in demand. We build and maintain power generation plants and factories. We save the owner a great deal of money and down time by properly maintaing expensive machinery. Best Wishes to you, Rocky
