I came across a web site which listed some positions for Intercourse to be avoided following total hip replacement. http://aboutjoints.com/patientinfo/topics/sexualconcerns/avoidpositions.html Is that applicable for a short period after surgery or ..? are there any other positions which should be avoided? I have been told patients after THR cannot naturally resume familiar sexual activities with your wife or at least I have to change it. I also have been told that I cannot carry any thing. I'm still 34 and I have no childern yet. these are the concerns which crosses my mind. I know it is a sensitve subject but Pleas i want to hear from you guys before I consider the surgery option. thank you all
