How many years of study does it take you in order to obtain a doctoral degree? How about a PsyD and a PhD?

It depends. Some places have a 2-year MA. Some a 1-year MA. Some no MA at all. After that, a PhD will run an additional 4-to-7 years approxiamtely. I don't know about a PsyD, but given that they have no research component, probably shorter.

The American Psychological Association has a special website for students at http://www.apa.org/students/ You'll find answers to many of your questions there.
