With Panasonic's DVX100 and 100A the only progresive scan MiniDV cameras out there, how soon before Sony, Canon, JVC, et al come-out with models to compete?

I wonder because I am considering getting a Sony PDX10 to replace my Panasonic EZ50...but would one be advised to wait until Sony introduces a progresive scan camcorder of their own?

My dream would be something the size (and price!) of the PDX10 which shoots progressive scan!

Anyone know if one's on the drawing board?
