Called a few dealer about the F4 Mille.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

This may not be the most useful information, but I thought I'd pass it along any way.

Last week, I e-mailed 3 dealer re: the price and sale of the F4 Mille in the U.S. They believe the F4 Mille should arrive in limited numbers around July or August, and the price would be in the low $20K. They could really confirm anything at this time.

So, my guess is that by the end of this year, we'll start seeing Milles arriving on our shores.

Just for information,

My dealer received the very first two 100F4 bikes (Ago's !)last week. I am situated in Belgium. The keys of the 2 bikes which will be used for the races on the isle of Man were handed over by G. Agostini, himself.

As an MV rider I was invited to the press conference and I had the chance to have a chat with M. Agostini who really impressed me.

Normally M. Castiglioni was anounced as well, but was replaced by his Marketing and Sales Manager.

I ordered a 1000 (to replace my 750 with 40 000 km) and asked hem when it would be shipped. He told me that production started first of april. The Ago's and standard 1000's are made at the same time. However he could not tell me when I would receive my bike as they are shipped in small quantities all over the world. The pre production (first of april) are used for final tuning and designing of the final version.

The 2 Ago's were tested the week before by the owners (riders at the isle of Man)at Cartagena (Spain) and their comment was that those bikes are not made for the road, so impressive as the power is. For the race tracks already from 6000 rpm, the torque is great. Handling is as the 750 and the problem of the touching of the front wheel and the radiator while braking does not exist on the 1000.

I will pay around 22 000 Euro for my bike, while the 750 (2001)with full garantee of the dealer goes for 13 000 Euro.

Not Really an Answer but a question. In response to Patrick... Front tire touching radiator while braking... has this issue been corrected in the 2002 F4 1+1? If so what where the fixes?

Respectfully Joseph
