hello everybody. I am new to this scene and need some help. i need to know what is a good scope that will be good up to 500 yds. if some one can help me out that will be great.

How much did you want to spend? A good beginner scope would be a Simmons Pro Hunter or AETEC. They range up to $200. They will get you to 500 yards. Good luck.
