you can using the stock centrifcul clutch on the snowmobile engin and buying an torque converter kit. I have on that has a 96 cubic inch Harley evolution engine on it that ive hit 90 on with alot left

hey tom you fag your a lier! the 488 is out of a yamaha phazer so it's fan cooled which means it will over heat my bet is take the fan housing off to cool it down and build a huge frame with a roll cage cause that thing is gonna fly and you will kill your self!

actually a 488 is out of an polaris indy 500 which is liquid cooled, a phazer was fan cooled but it was a 485. but of course if it is out of a polaris indy trail it would be a 488 fancooled twin. get your facts straight before you misinform somebody

it will work all you have to do is re jet the carb so it wont over heat (even if it is liqid coold). you send more fule to cool the engen down. i found out the efrcts ove over heating a 2 cycle engen in my dirt bike ( the side of the piston melted off and went out the eagsast. it was my first major carbwork done on a engen and didnt know what i was doing. i lernd now but it was pricey.
