I found some sites on an elevator accident that occured in the Baker hotel in Mineral Wells,TX. It involved a 15 year old elevator attendant named Douglas who became crushed at the waist between the top of the hoistway door & the bottom of the car door. Some think he was murdered,but actually it was a tragic accident. Also related to the hotel's elevators, what are the types of Otis equipment used? The equipment is original ever since the hotel was built in the 1920's, the controllers, selectors, MG's, gearless machines, but I'm referring to the type numbers of each piece of equipment.
