Though I do not personally see a legitimate reason for homosexual marriages, I have two problems with the proposed constitutional amendment. First, the federal gov't does not have a right to make laws concerning marriage; marriage licenses are issued by State governments. Second, constitutional amendments should grant freedoms, not take them away.
