I have a Proto 2000 E7 engine that I'm having trouble with. I have cleaned the track very well with Goo Gone and all the other passenger car wheels stay clean but the engine wheels get dirty very quickly even after I cleaned them they are dirty in 5 or 10 minutes or so. Are the wheels pitted or is it something else. I also have a B unit and the wheels are fine on it, no dirt

Some P2K units have inferior blackened wheel materials. change 'em. Contact Life-Like or get some from NWShort-Line.
