Have you ladies ever wanted to make Doula training something that is just a regular major at the local college. You could get some of everything - lactation training, birth, and postpartum care. Herbs and alternative medicine can also be offered.

I am wondering how difficult this would be to sell to a local career/junior college. I know that in european countries this is the case so just wanted some feedback on this.

I have been thinking the same thing. The training could be great and it wuld help people see us as more professional. When I say I am a doula some people look at me like they think I am making it up!
