Wells was also the fomer pastor of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, Atlanta, Georgia. A graduate of Tennessee State, Turner Theological Seminary and Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. The wife of Mrs. Barbara Wells and the father of Rev. Charles E. Wells, Jr. The funeral services will be at Flipper Temple A.M.E. Church, Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m., The Rev. Terrence Gray, Officiating and Bishop Frank C. Cummings, Presiding Prelate of the Sixth District delivering the message.
