I had hip surgery and replacments on both hips about 7 years ago. I lifted something too heavy about a month ago and then abour 4 or 5 days later, I stepped on my right leg and I felt the hip slip. Since then I have had pain down my leg and my entire leg seems traumatized. I feel some inflamation in the hip area. There is pain in the back of my knee and I finally resorted to useing a cane. What do you think may be the problem?

The problem may be related to your hip or possibly from you low back. It is best to see your surgeon to have these two evaluated soon.
