Can anyone post some tips and plans about how to cheaply make a lawnmower go faster (about 15 15 Mph)?

Hacker they tell me that you switch the drive pulleys to start.the 1 from motor 2 drive and drive pulley 2 motor.Just time involved and they say 35 to 40 mph depends on mower hp of engine.Find the mower racing sites from search I got this info there really good stuff if ur into racing riders or more speed.hope this helps and if i attempt this will post again.

The easiet way and most inexpensive would be to put a smaller pulley on the lawnmowers engine.

well the first thing 2 do is 2 get u some pulleys.If u are runin a 14.5hp i whould get a 4 or 5in pulley for the motor then get a 1 or 2 in for the transaxle then just get the right size belt and u have a tractor that goes 45mph.
