I work at K-mart at the customer service desk. On this past Monday I worked 12 noon to 9pm. I was told today that one of the registers was short on monday. There were at least 3 people working on that register before I even came in. But today I was demoted and written up and no one else. They are questioning a trasaction I had done that day. They are claiming that I gave the customer their money back, which I didn't do. I counted the money the customer gave me which was a large amount and correct and placed it in the register. So now I have been demoted and being blamed for the shortage. I asked to see the tape they said no I asked about the report on the register they said no. Is there anything that I can do.
