I have an 8HP Briggs on my 53' Moto Mower an I want to increase its power. I need some tips on how to tune or modify it without spending much cash.

well the cheapest way would be to get a better airfilter. i would reccomend k&n. then 4 more money u could get a tuned muffler

you could get shorter push rods
