Has anyone had this problem with his Saeco Charisma (actually I gave this machine to my friend on his birthday):

The espresso is not as hot as we hoped it would be. The temperature in the cup when it is brewing is between 110F and 125F. But as far as I know it should be 161F - 166F. How I measured: Used pre-heated cup. Hold the thermometer in the drip and eventually in the cup.

Do you guys have any ideas?

Answers

Well, you might have solved you problem by this late date, but apparently that happens on the first cup. I've read that you should heat up the apparatus by firing off a blank shot using the pre-ground doser (without coffee in it).
