Hello- Just found out that HP is now selling some of their business inkjets with individual color ink tanks - just like Canon & Epson are doing with their photo printers. To check it out: http://h40059.www4.hp.com/stressfree/colour.html . These printers are: Business Inkjet 2300/1100; Deskjet 9650; Laserjet 3500/3700. When you get there, you'll find this statement in one of the printer's specs: "our single colour cartridge replacement system means you save money too." The rep also said that this was true. The rep said that the only difference is the ink used in the business printers doesn't last as long as in their photo printers. Otherwise, the she said that the photo quality was equal. That's sounded a little strange to me. Anyway, hope they come out with this in their photo printers.
