looking for any advice on coping with crawling

Hi, I have a 3 1/2 month old daughter and am a wheelchair user. At the present i am managing to look after her by myself during the day. My partner works full time & i am wondering how to manage when she wants to start crawling any experience or advice would be appreciated. Thanks Tracy

Hi Tracy,

Have you thought about Direct Payments? This is a new way of receiving support though your local council. Instead of getting services from the council, you can ask for Direct Payments to pay for the support you need. Direct Payments can give you more choice, control and flexibility. They can be used in many ways such as paying for transport, small pieces of equipment, gardening/decorating services and for employing a Personal Assistant and so much more. Contact your council and ask for an assessment, tell them you're interested in Direct Payments. Good luck!
