I work in a restaurant, and over presidents day weeking i would like to take a vacation, it just happens to also fall on valentines. The restaurant has placed signs around the restaurant letting all employees know that they will be forced to work. I was not sure if this is illegal for the company to do with hourly employees? If the company is not legally able to make employees work then i was wondering if any one knew where to find the code for provisions against this.
