I am very confused I Why do people go to raves I always get short answrers the music, the kamradery, the sex. But nobody here in Prague can tell me why they really go. What is the signficance raves play in your lives. Could you live with out it. It seems almost like a religion.

Funny you should say that. Some friends and I say "I need to go to church" when we feel the need to go to a "Rave". I have been to some that didn't have that "vibe", but for the most part, for me, there really is a closeness in the community that I haven't experienced in any other situation. Be it my own mindset, or something greater, there is nothing that compares to the experience of being in a room full of strangers but knowing everyone there is feeling the same thing you are, happiness. I tend to be a bit jaded at times, and sometime feel like I lose faith in all humanity when I see how people treat each other, but when I am "Home", and really find that feeling, it gives me hope/faith again....to know that someone is still there and has love for the next stranger. Hope this makes some sense...it's really hard to fully explain unless you have experienced it, and I hope you do.
