Hello, I would like to rescue some images from my sandisc flashcard but all the software that I have found can't read it directly from the camera. Do I have to purchase a card reader or is there a way to difine my Canon S45 as an external drive through a USB port? Thank you for ideas.

I had Memory Stick problem. I downloaded FREE 'PC Inspector Smart Revovery' (http://www.pcinspector.de/smart_media_recovery/uk/welcome.htm). I recovered everything and now Windows Explorer recognize the Memory Stick.
