Bosch Espresso Cup

I have a used Bosch Espresso Cup maker (TKA4811US), but no instructions for its use. Can anyone help me? It has a dial on the left that reads "on" "off" "stop" and "a little cloud figure;" a steam nozzle (what do I do with that?) and a dial on the right. Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat. Lost my instructions and now the big kids want expresso.

I'm not even sure where to put the water. Diana

I have had one for 14 years and it is the best home espresso maker I have ever had.

Open the top and pull out the cone shaped basket. In the resrvoir you will see little tick marks equating to 1, 2, and 4 cups. Just pour in the water. Unscrew the lid to the basket and put in one scoop for each cup of coffee to be made. Lock the lid back on the basket and put it back in and close the lid.

On the right side of the machine is a rocker switch. Rock it up and the heating light will come on. When it is at a boil the second light will come on. Then rock the switch all the way down and you will hear whirling sound as the coffee is being brewed. When the coffee stops comming out, move the switch back to the center position. OH! did I mention to put a cup on the tray under the little holes where the coffee comes out? There are two holes so you can put a single cup under both or snuggle two cups togather, one under each spout.

If you are doing 4 cups, there is a silver panel on the front just under the spouts that folds up and snaps under the spouts so you can then put 4 cups under there.

The knob on the left side should be rotated full colock-wise so the "OFF" marking is on top while you are brewing coffee. I never use this thing because it is not real effective. I just microwave the milk and I have a hand frother if I'm doing cappuchino. But if you do want to use it, respond and I'll slog through the directions for it.

As I said, this is the best home style expresso make I've ever owned and mine has lasted 14 years. The way I ran accross your message was the motor on mine finaly quit and I'm looking for a new one.

Cheers

We also have this wonderful machine, however our plastic basket has now cracked, anyone know a source for parts?

I bought an unused TKA4800 Series and am actually trying to use it. I've never been on a thread. I do have the instruction manual and it looks like all of the parts are there; but the water won't seem to draw up into the coffee after it boils? Any suggestions????? Thanks, Danielle
