I went to the Motorcycle show yesterday at the NEC in Birmingham and the first stand was the MV stand I stood drooling ove the new models especially the Tamburini , what a beautiful machine I was well impressed.Apparantly there are only 10 machines coming into the UK and they have a price tag of £30K (dont know if they are worth that) people were just stood for ages looking at the MVs which did not seem to happen on the other stands except for ones with perhaps GP bikes on them. I wondered what other peoples views on the show were and whether they were impressed with the new bikes?? Les

defo agree, looked great and so good to hear that probs re distribution/production are sorted (at the moment). 3X say F4 1000 lands in UK in Jan/Feb.

Overall disappointed with show. new jap plastic rockets looked, well, same old same old. And seems that smaller trade stands priced out of the show - which is shame.

I AGREE THE MV STAND STOOD OUT FROM THE REST,THE MV IS ON MY WISH LIST. ALTHOUGH THE JAP STUFF WAS SAMEY I THOUGHT THE DAYTONA WAS QUITE INTERESTING.THE BIGGEST BORE WAS THOSE IRRITATING PEOPLE TRYING TO GET CREDIT CARD APPLICATIONS PARTICULARLY THE HONDA GIRLS, IM SURE THEY STOPPED PEOPLE GOING NEAR THEIR STAND, TOM

I took my son and met my niece and her Italian boyfriend there. Yes we stood and gawped at the Taburini but 30K? Are they nuts? Sure, it's the most beautiful bike I ever saw and although I never heard it, they reckon it plays music too. Only for the fabulously rich unfortunately, and even more unfortunately, they're the people who'll least appreciate it. Life sucks. Still, best thing by a looooooong way was the trials display; two quids worth of the best entertainment I've seen for years. That took me back I can tell you, cleaning a section on the old Enfield, a dab here, a wobble there, who are you? Is it nearly teatime? Who's nicked my pipe?

First thing I saw was the MV stand, Tamburini & Agostini were nice but visually as stunning as I thought they would be. I really hate those rear wheels. Really liked the 1000 & the 750 is stunning as usual. I was most impressed by the brutale's though.
