Walter Samuel Hunter was being predident of the APA. "Who?" you ask? Student of James Rowland Angell's at Chicago. Beahviorist. Inventor of the "temporal maze." Major appoinments at Kansas, Clark, and Brown (the last of which named its psychology lab after him, I believe).
