Why Mr. Glasser change Control Theory to Choice Theory?Do they mean the same pointview?

Dr. Glasser made several changes in the original Control Theory . Eventually he thought that he had changed it so much that he could no longer ethically call it 'Control Theory' and he gave the "metamorphosed" or "Transformed" theory the name "Choice Theory" Also he had always had a problem with the name Control Theory because he thought people misinterpreted the name and believed it meant having control over others.
