Look through your under arms, you will get used to it but don’t forget to use deodorant, if you do not wont to fall of your bike. ciao

I've just bought my MV, and have noticed that under arm views are best, I have warned my mates that if they must come past then leave plenty of room cos I won't see em coming. These cheap jap bikers are all the same. I reckon though once I get used to MV perhaps there wont be many chances that my blade and R1 mates will get past anyway !

I'm working on two different solutions...

1. A video monitor and mounting system that mounts just in front of that rubber headlight bulb cover.. completely out of the way...a perfect spot for a 3" monitor... a small wide angle camera mounted facing rearward. Designer says 3 lanes will be visible.. prototype monitor is in transit...

2. There is a new helmet on the market .. the Reevu MSX1 coming out of Europe that uses internal mirrors to display everything behind you in the upper portion of your visor area…their website can be found at We have approached them to become one of only a handful of US importers. So far.. we’ve filled out the forms and sent them to them for approval. Trying my best to get a couple of samples… looks like the cheapest solution.. and sounds like a damn good idea if the helmet is actually comfortable… They are NOT on the market yet so don't bother contacting them..

For now I’ll just keep looking through my arms…. Will report what I find in the weeks to come.. Hope to add either one (or both) to our upcoming MV product line…

Pirate out..

"Whatsa behind me isa not important!"....from Smokey & the Bandit?? as he rips the rearview mirror off the Ferrari & throws it away! the Brutale mirrors are almost the same.

What I did was to purchase (2) small square concave mirror that you can probably purchase on any automobile shop. It basically sticks to your existing mirrors and helps me to see the 'blind spots' on both sides. I tell you it works wonders than not having one at all!!!

"Whatsa behind me isa not important!"....

Actually that was Raul Julia and the movie was the original "Gumball Rally" :)

one of my personal favorite movie scenes...

I bought two round rotating wideangle mirrors about 2" in diameter. They are available from any car accessory shop and attach with doublesided tape. Just stuck them in mid mirror adjusted and hey presto. Mind you for close work I still peek under my arms. Lots of deoderant though.

....if somebody is behind you, while you are driving MV, you made something wrong...100%

Keep an eye out for this helmet w/ built in mirrorS that allow you to see what's behind you. Word is, it hasn't reached production yet.
