Hi! My band teacher gave me clarinet music to Headwigs Flight from Harry Potter, but since I am a clarinet player, I don't get the melody. Can I transpose the flute music so I can practice the melody at home? How?

Yes, my band played a few songs from Harry Potter last year. I play trumpet, but I took a year of clarinet also. You *should* be able to transpose it... but I'm guessing your band teacher would like you to play the part they gave you. When put together with the whole and, it sounds quite nice. Good luck!
