Hi Chris,

I went online to try to locate a product I saw on a home improvement show once, and I couldn't find it, but I found your website. So I am writing to ask, do you know of a manufacturer of radiant floor cooling systems that DO NOT utilize water for cooling, but rather use electricity?

I saw a company that had these panels that get laid into the flooring, and they run on electrical power and use no water, for radiant floor cooling - ANY IDEA WHO MAKES THESE?

Appreciate any tips you can give me ... thanks!

Unfortunately, I don't have any info on electric chilled floors. There are several companies who can provide electric radiant floor heating, but I've never heard of a similar system for cooling.

Perhaps another forum reader has an idea?

Its called a peltier inverter

I am afraid that electric cooling does cannot exist, because cooling systems always take heat from one place and dump it somewhere else. Water cooled radiant panels absorb heat from a room and expel the heat elsewhere. Electricity is only able to produce heat through resistance.

it's can be done by electricity for chiller floor or panel based on semiconductor's thermal-electricity priciple,but it's not feasible by economics. i think it's not compitive this time.
