Paid Administrative Leave

I was put on paid administrative leave as of 8-28-03 - should this not be in writing and confidential?

There's no law that I know of that mandates that placing an employee on a paid administrative leave must be in writing. It is likely to be the written or unwritten policy or practice of most employers.

Confidentiality: Hard to say without more facts. Certainly, medical information has to be kept confidential.
