I was given a Sedg-Versal dumb waiter by a friend who rescued it from the dumpster of a mansion renovation in New Haven CT. My husband is building our house (framing as I write) and we would love to install the dumb waiter. I am looking for advice in how to find a professional in Maine who might know something about this machine. We are also missing one of the main bearings so we need to find someone who could locate or make the part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want a dumb waiter, call a real elevator company and have a new one installed. If you want an "antique" ask for a special cab and doors.
