You can do this, but it's very time consuming and complicated. 1) Do a web search for VCDgear and download it. Use it to extract the *.DAT file(s) from the MPEGAV directory on your VCD and convert them back to .MPG files. 2) Use something like TMPGenc (http://www.tmpgenc.net) to demux the .MPG file(s) into separate audio and video streams. 3) Go to http://www.doom9.net and in the Downloads section, get the BeSweet GUI and BeSweet. Use it to convert the mp2 audio file you got in step 2 to WAV format. This is suitable for buring to CD audio. Guides for using the BeSweet GUI are at the same site. You will need an audio editor of some kind if you want to separate the WAV file into separate tracks.

just go to www.vcdhelp.com for more help

but i would suggest you do it this way

get the vcd use a program called isobuster which is free from www.isobuster.com and extract the video file using an mpg filter

ok then i would open the mpg file in a program called virtualdub and that will split the audio and uncompress it to wav file then you can do whatever you need with it then

go to www.vcdhelp.com for more guides

Have you considered the grass roots way of capturing the Audio? Put the VCD in your best player, connected to your best stereo, tweek the settings for best sound, and record directly into Microsoft recorder. You could have a burn-ready file when you save what you recorded. :)
