I am 19, F and from Australia, I've only just kind of gotten into raving,I love the music and I WOULD love to dance. I love to watch people doing it - but I can't seem to get the hang of it myself, I just look stupid. I mean it, I really don't look any good! I wouldn't mind not looking fantastic, as long as I felt good about what I was doing and having fun - but I'm not! I can keep a beat, but I just can't elaborate on it all. If anyone has anything to say that could help me in any way, that would be great. I have dropped pills, occaisionally, and yes, I do find myself taken over by the music, but I just don't really know what to do with all the damn energy! If someone can just give me a basic pattern of movement to follow I could probably take it from there, with some practice. I just wanna rave! Help me!

Hey dude, I'm from Oz too (Perth) and for a start WHO FUCKING CARES WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE, THATS NOT WHAT ITS ABOUT - JUST DANCE!!!. If someone does give you shit, turn around and tell them to fuck off and get with the vibe. Chances are, they don't dance at all! But, if you are really determined to dance well, it all depends on what tunes you be listening too. Ya see, if its old skool, you got the old skool hands in the air (not all the time, just a term :-) style. If you be dancin to some old 96 jump up, you've got the hardstep etc etc. Fuck that shuffle they do to trance and house etc in Melbourne (shite!) I'm not even going to mention (well not again anyway) that fucking yankee "liquid" shite.
